AF 1090 reg wander

Af 1090 with 5M on the clock all reg parts replaced and all feed units have new clutches and replaced the 2 gears that wear the problem is the paper is ariving late about 2/3mm so no leadedge erase and it jams on the h/r strippers the reg wander is on all feed statons and im at a loseas to what to try. some of the copies in the run the reg is spot on then the next its off then a couple will be ok any help please.

You say AF1090? Not sure of that one - is it the 2090?
If it is, the main cause is usually the relay/reg guides worn, dirty reg roller and worn relay clutch - the one under the motor marked "A"

Sorry friggemagnet you are right it is a2090 or nashua 9005 thanks for the input i have changed the guide and the 2 clutches on the reg unit

Have had several similar machines with a bad registration motor - simple way to test: cheat the front door interlocks, and start the motor in output check while applying a slight amount of tension to the jam knob with your thumb - a bad motor will not start with only a slight amount of tension, a good motor will be difficult to stall even with moderate or large amounts of tension.

I would try turning off the double feed detection in user tools.
