MPC306 zspf can't update firmware

Hi guys,

Tried updating the firmware from a mpc306 zspf through tech mode.
Had to program a @remote code first.
Connected to our office network.
But am only getting a error message 'cannot use this function E71' when attempting to update package.

Any help would be great.

The package firmware never works for me. I just use the old method. Remember the Cheetah firmware is updated through the SD card slot in the panel, done through recovery mode.

Yea I've been doing that way, just more convenient when setting up multiple machines.
... How do you present the page file on a spreadsheet card? In a folder or main directory?

Have updated all our 306ZSP's through the application site very easily and quickly.
Just remember to clear Cache and set save cookies in web browser NX security settings before accessing application site for the first time :-)

Just click on the Application Site Icon it will be on one of the screens... Only works though after you've gone into web browser NX security settings and set cookies to save and clear cache. Once in application site Admin Menu>Managed items>Firmware Management..

Updated firmware but it's now not showing any icons or widgets on the home screen?

Does @remote need to be enabled to allow for firmware updates via app site as when we tried on this mc, it says cannot connect.

When we do check server connect it succeeds, but thats all we get to.
