    Savin C4535 Out of Ideas.

    Heya guys,

I got thrown on this call on this ancient Savin C4535 that was having yellow lines appear diagonally across color prints. In the past month I have changed yellow developer and drum with no noticeable difference. The lines were going from top right to bottom left. As a suggestion I replaced the Image Processing Board and something funky happened. The lines started going to the top left to the bottom right and on the top third of the page there was no lines. Black and white prints and copies look fine. Does anyone here have any idea of what I can do to solve this issue.

There's a TB regarding the development clutch (P/N - AX200273) that sounds kinda like your problem minus the flip flopping from the ipu change...

Print out test patterns to see which color has void lines. Replace the dv clutch and dv unit as a set.

It sure sounds like the dv clutch but only if it is voids. Replacement is not too bad compared to doing a toner pump.

I replaced the cyan clutch and it did not fix the problem.

You have an issue with yellow, and you replaced the cyan clutch with no change. Not surprising......

lol yeah - I can recall this was a common issue so a new clutch (and DV unit since it looses developer if the clutch is faulty) should fix this issue.
