Re: mp-6002
Something else to consider. Windows SMB (Scan to file) works very well over a connection set up as "NetBIOS over TCP/IP" (as long as you have login credentials for the computer and a properly shared folder.)... but doesn't really like when the network connection is set up as "NetBIOS over DHCP".
Also with the new PC, make sure File and Printer Sharing is enabled. If their network connection is set up as "Public", then File and Printer Sharing is disabled by default!!
Start simple...if the only "new" thing is the computer, don't let the customer blame the copier for the scanning issue!! (Especially if there are other people still able to scan.)
P.S.- Be nice about it though...LOL!Comment

Scan to file
Are they local pc folder shares or server shares mapped to pc
Print a config page from the 6002
This mostly on older machine not sure on 6002
Look for smb client should be 445.....not 139 (oldnetbios)
Windows server security patch/update only alows SSL TCP/IP 445.....i think the only way to change this is telnet to the printer..
if the client only updated pc's to win 10, i would check the sharing/security tabs on the shared folders located on those PCs. Make sure the credentials on copier are admin rights and password doesnt expire. And that the copiers credentials are listed on the security tab with full permissions.
Then bean the d*** IT nitwit with the handle of your screw driver!I have had a few that over secured and took shares out.
Scan to email-is it local or hosted?
Is it set as relay unathenticated or authenticated?
change SNMP port to 587 for SSL, security cert for 465 was nullified....if not SSL and set as 25, chnge to 2525.
If all else fails, set it up with a gmail account!
Hope this helpsSome people may say I have a short temper, but I prefer to call it
