    Printing on polyester paper

So on top of selling and servicing copiers my work is also a print shop. So the owner has a job that he wants run through our C4501 on 12x18 polyester "paper" the problem is that the static cling on it is crazy. Also there was on sheet that came out with a small white void spot that I think is a result of a static discharge in the machine.

Anyone ever used this kind of stuff before?

I don't have any experience with that type of throughput, but I'd be surprised if it could make it through any xerographic machine. It couldn't possibly run reliably, and may cause a lot of service problems. Good luck with that!!

It goes through the machine fairly good. Hasn't jammed so far. Just the static issue so far.

But this is the first day. It costs $2 a sheet and we only have like ten extra outside of what we need. Gonna be a good ole time.

If the static issues are not around the drum or the initial paper feed, some Brillianize or a really thin coat of fuser oil on the paper guides can help sometimes.
