    [Misc] Lanier LD425c (Ricoh MP c2500) - Memory Errors. Unable to print color graphics!

    Hey guys,
    I've looked everywhere, and am hoping someone will help.
    Old church printer here. It's still going good, though.

    i'm trying to print a color image intensive file, and it just will not. Machine warms up, and resets.

    RPCS Error Report states:
    Error Type: Memory Error
    Error Info: 51 No additional Information
    Reference Data
    4e 6f 20 52 65 66 65 72 65 63 65 20 44 61 74 61 00

    I've tried reducing resolution on the entire machine (from 600fast to 300) with no help.
    I've also tried removing the Ram-dimm and reseating them, with no help.
    I then tried to use one Ram-Dimm at a time, and the machine didn't like that. Gave me a red error screen on startup. I was hoping if it was a bad dimm to identify which was bad.

    I'm going to try to hook it up directly to usb and print that way and see. I'm wondering if this is a network controller issue.

    Any ideas will help.

      USB cable works fine...
      Go figure.

      Any ideas why I can't print larger graphic intensive images over the network?

          Plot Twist.

          Gave the file to the secretary to modify, and on a whim i asked her to print it. It printed just fine. Only difference is she's on a wired network.

          ....The wireless works fine for everything else, including printing black and white documents or lightly colored files.

          I'm wondering if it's a driver issue / windows 10 thing.

              I'd guess that the wireless network is timing out.
              Back in the day I had an old computer that I used as a network print server on my personal wireless network to take care of that.
              But that was a long time ago, with printers that were far less than yours.
