MP C3001 ADF jam-.-

Today i went to service 3 MP C3001, all the three machines had good print quality but one of the copier made some wistle sound when scanning by ADF.

i had a extra MP C3001 with me wich was tested fully and was 100%.

so i just removed the ADF and replaced it, half hour later when i'm back at office the customers call us again and says we have jam again??

any solutions ?

machine has a total counter of 300.000 .

Hard to tell without the jam code.

So your original ADF had a whistle noise but wasn't jamming ? Sounds like worn sep belt and feed rollers, that will cause a whistling noise.

Print out the SMC report. The report will show all recent jam codes.

I will visit the customer today again and will post the solution for in the future if someone is heading the same problem.

Visited the customer and the machine worked just fine..

made 50 copies with the ADF all without a single jam..

then the customer said well the paper jams also bij printing... i just printed like 60 pages so i just replaced the rollers so she can be happy, also replaced the black drum it was giving a line.

for now the problem is solved.
