Customer has a Ricoh C411DN that one of the colors is kicking out. They flip it back, close the cover, and it kicks the cartridge back around. Of course it then says reset X cartridge.
Make shure it's OEM Ricoh toner because like in other cases you can't use the consumables from the sister-companies (Gestetner, Lanier....) because that stuff doesn't fit mechanically.
I don't have much experiences with this printer but as far as I remember it needs some force to set te toner in the correct position. You definetly should feel the point of detend after flipping the lever. There's also a visual indicator.
Probably he may haven't used enough force - or maybe too much so something break at the toner or hopper. I'd suggest to try the old toner (in case it's not disposed) to check if this is a machine or supply-related issue.
