Guys,may I know what problem wit my machine mp 6001,,developer will decrease or little missing. Mean developer will lost . May I know what cause it ? Thanks

Replace dev unit and dev, clean all spilt dev from feed stations.

But machine previous is using new developer ,but now currenty dev missing.mean developer tank problem, right? Magnetic roller weak?any other cause it? Setting adjustment will issue it?

replace the paddle roller bushing if developer leak out from rear or front, if not check the charging bias and development bias, set it back to the default value .
check the PCU unit for developer being transfer to the unit.

It is leaking out the back probably bad seal.

If you are using low quality third party developer and toner, it can be pulled to the drum, especially if the machine is under toned.

With the Dev unit out tilt it forward towards the magnetic rollers just a bit and rotate the rollers, does developer cover the entire magnetic rollers? if developer is missing in spots the doctor blade could be clogged up. If you have developer all the way across the rollers it could be a lack of toner in the dev unit.

The rear seal/bushing on these were known to leak out developer and drop it all down into the feed station gears so check the bushing and feed stations for developer. Your best bet may be to replace the developer and bushing and clean the mag rollers with a rough pad or balled up chunk of paper and run the developer initialization and see if the problem is corrected. If there is a few million pages on it already you may just replace the whole dev unit and be done with it.
