PRO 907 EX error code BR#42

Dear All,

I am suddenly having trouble in my pro 907 EX after power up it shows error code BR#48 as i attached image.
Kindly guide me.

I resovled this issue by reinstalling the printer controller software.

I am assuming that this has a fiery controller. If you no longer have the instal software that came with the fiery, contact EFI. Electronics for Imaging

Well I don't think there was a Fiery plugged on it. I can acutally change the IP address and Ping the machine, which means there is an interface Inside the machine.

If there is a fiery, it is mounted under the cover below where the controller is located. I assume that there is a fiery because I don't recognize BR#42 as a main frame or plockmatic service code. Also since mdfurqan2012 said he reinstalled printer controller software, a fiery controller would be the only one that has its own software. GW controller only has firmware and mdfurqan2012 has been around long enough to know the difference.

You must be right then. There is a black wite connectung both the top and bottom at rear side of the machine.

Would then reinstalling the printer driver work it out. Plus the code is not 42 but 48 as shown on the jpg attached to the first post.

I've tried updating the firmwares and I show no difference still having BR#48 code (BAckup and Restore)

Any other idea on the problem solution?

I reaolved that issue by reinstalling the printer software not by updating machine's.
Printer software like we install software in fiery controller not firmware.
So installing printer software by a patch cable directly connect machine with computer. By running an application on computer will install new software in machine and after rebooting machine your issue will resolve.

I missunterperted the solution.

I'll try it. It's my first time with these printers. You said that printer software is some sort of a fiery or is a fiery? What is it in reality?

I do have all the romdata but do not have or not sure I have the right procedure on how to do the uploading.

Is it something you can help me with?
