    MPC5000 Drums in MPC4000

    Hello ladies and gents,
I am attempting to swap the drums from an MPC5000 into a MPC4000. I swapped the front plates (with the like 3/4" plastic nub) and the drum doesn't sit correctly. I noticed the gear for the developer are of different designs. I imagine if I deconstruct the drums from the developer units I can get it to work. I am mostly concerned with the wiring harness being an issue. I know people have been using MPC2500 drums but I haven't seen much on the MPC4000.

I am an OJT learning IT tech and only have been working on these in the background (whenever there's an issue) since April 2016. I have deconstructed drums and replaced components of MPC 2500/4000/4500/4501/5000/6501 (these are what the company owns) so I know my way around these drums, just never have swapped components from one model to another.
