    [Error Code] MP 6001.... CODE SC 161-03

    Hi ... I'm new here and I would like to post a question.I have a mp 6001, which is giving code sc-161-03. According to the manual, it corresponds to the BICU. The BICU is changed and remains the same. Can somebody help me ?

      Next step could possibly be the harness between the BICU ad SBU and the SBU itself.
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

          Could be the IPU board. Had a MP6001 that threw this code, replaced BCU and the BCU EEPROM and nothing change. Changed IPU and code went away.

          Unfortunately the IPU is about three times the cost of a BCU. If you have a spare you can pull to try it's worth it.
