    MP W2401PS Ssanning problem

I have a problem scanning long drawings. Machine scans up to 3 meters only.
Scanning longer than 3 meters drawings, the file is blank! Even if it Scans to Folder, to Memory Device,
to HDD. I tried with other PC's, with different OS, nothing. Tried PDF, JPEG, nothing at all.
This machine recognizes HDD and Memory 2GB existence.
Nothing found at SP modes, Bulletins, My Ricoh Site, about this.
Does anyone have an idea what happens here? Thank in advance for any input...

The maximum scan length is 3m according to the scanner reference.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Just reading Scan Reference book and if i understand corectlly,
at page 184 it says that using Twain Driver you can scan up to 91.4mm wide
and 15.000mm length at 600dpi. Am i wrong?
Other than these boards i could not find any statement about 3m scan limit.
May i ask some more help TonerMonkeh??

Should be able to scan 3 ft x 49.2ft @600dpi, according to the product support guide. It does say "with limitations". I suppose a scan with a lot of fill could possibly use up all available HDD space before you hit 49.2 ft
