I have been fighting this code it will mostly do this in the morning when it cycles the 1st time for the day code says lead edge stopper motor error I have updated all firmware and oiled and cleaned finisher this code will happen in the morning ( they don't even need to be saddle stitching just the 1st cycle the finisher makes) can pop the code. any pictures or ideas would really help thank you

Possibly the door switch on the finisher.

Just wondered if door switch resolved your issue as i have same but suspect its finisher pwb as few other issues.

Your first post and you just happen to decide to reply to a thread that is over two years old. in the future I would suggest that if you want to know if a problem was corrected, you should Private Message the the original poster. Many of them do not reply to let us know if a problem was fixed.

Had no idea you could private message as first time using this site so not really sure how the whole thing works.

Just thought would pop a quick message on the off chance.

Have ordered finisher main board anyway as door switch didnt resolve.
