    SPC830DN Auto Off Timer Disable

I have a new SPC830dn that is located in a central office with multiple outside (Home) users. The customer is complaining that the machine is turning itself off and not printing out materials over the weekend until someone comes in Monday morning and physically turns the main switch back on. I have looked and looked but can not find a way to disable the auto off timer (120min currently) and just have the machine go into Energy Save?

    TIA

You cannot disable the auto off timer. I don't think that is your problem though as the machine should wake from sleep when a print job comes to it. These machines do have a sensor that completely powers the machine off when it is in darkness for enough time. Ricoh calls it "ECO night sensor"

I've attached the page from the user manual that describes it.

Bingo! I went back to the account today and turned the Eco Night Sensor Off. We will see what happens by Monday

One other thing to check is that the weekly timer has not been set to power down on Friday evening.
