    MPC3000 SC543

    Hi.
    Im been facing error code of SC543.

    According the manual said that it is the PSU, BICU or IO board problem. But i suspect mostly is Fusing Unit because i had change the BICU board before.

    May i know other issue might effect? How to solve this problem?

      Hi

      have you checked the heating roller fusing lamp for continuity? Also the thermal fuses in the same circuit.

      What the code means is that the lamp circuit is staying on for too long without the thermistor reading the target temp.

              The only cure for SC543/553 is to replace the complete fuser with a new one.
              It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
