Hi, I'm getting the following error on a Ricoh MP4055 printer, SC230 - FUNCTIONAL PROBLEM, does anyone know what the cause is please ?

Not really helpful.

I had a school system in the country a few years ago that kept throwing this code; it was on (3) MP 6002s.

It normally happened on long copy or print runs, seldom on short ones.

Kept throwing them even after all firmware was updated, plus Java, and even a few boards replaced.

Turned out to be a power issue, which even our line monitor (a cheap one) missed.

When we pulled one into the shop, we never saw the error again.
