Is it possible to explain what a DF cable is?

I have scanned back through this entire thread and cannot find where you posted the lam code for the jam. The letters a,b,c,d,z are merely location guide letters for the operator to know where to remove paper from. They do not show where the actual jam occurred. The code should be Jxxx where xxx is a three digit number. We need the number from when the jam originally happened. You can check it by looking at the jam history in the Data Log portion of the SMC report SP 5990-004.

you have a blocked cable OR you unplugged the DF connector - or plugged it back in - when machine was in on mode.

Double check that the cyan PCU is properly reassembled and fits properly in its place.Especially the parts on the front of the drum shaft, it can be difficult to get the springs, bearing and all of the spacers on before something gets shot across the room. I used to keep those parts that I reclaimed from other drum units in my "small and easily lost things" container for exactly that reason.

Hello. I rechecked the connections. All seem to be in the right position. Thanks for the advice. All, I removed the front door switch and checked for issues. They both are fine. Also, i checked the switch located on the right side. So, my understanding is that all of those 3 switches are working normally. I guess you people may be abke to suggest some other methods of resolving this one. ThanksSlimsob, sir LD5V? May i know if you have any information about that one? It is one of those places where the input result is pointing. Also, sc498 and sc 792 still exist.

Hello.
The machine started producing too much cyan in color prints. So i checked the pcu and replaced the drum blade.
I cleaned any remaining toner off the pcu section and put the unit back in its place.

The machine initially dint have issues as this.
It all started after i removed pcu.
Then started the trouble with paper jams.
As of now, its still the same.

Double check that the cyan PCU is properly reassembled and fits properly in its place.

Read the service manual yourself. There is a section on inputs checks.

Sir,these are the values which are different. Others are 0000000

So, is there any advice you could offer?

Write down every step you have taken on this machine before you have put this machine back on and noticed all this trouble.
Also mention the things that you aren't shure of to mention, mention it all...

Have you tries SP 5803 to see which sensor is not showing the correct reading?
