    MP 6001 Fax

Is there any way to have the reception time from the receiving machine printed on all fax pages? I found parameter switch 2 bit 2 In the manual but that will only print it only on the last page...

On a side note is it possible to have a "received by" printed on the fax?

    Hi

Printer Switch 00 (SP No. 1-103-001)

    Bit 2

Prints the date and time on received fax messages
    0: Disabled
    1: Enabled

This switch is only effective when user parameter 02 - bit 2 (printing the received date and time on received fax messages) is enabled.
1: The machine prints the received and printed date and time at the bottom of each received page.

Actually, having the machine print a receive footer, with the real time and date, can almost literally be a life saver.

I had a hospital some years back where the different areas would all fax their orders to the pharmacy, down on the first floor.

I don't think any 2 of the sending machines were even close on the time; some even had the wrong date. (Keep in mind that the sending machine dictates what appears on the header. It's not necessarily correct.)

Having the receive footer allowed the pharmacists and pharm techs to sort exactly which order they were received in, and got them filed in a more efficient way, getting medication to those who needed it more effectively. (Of course, emergencies were treated quite differently.)

Heading back out there today so I should have an answer.

@Ken That's exactly why they need the accurate time footer, medical facility. The 2 faxes that came in while i was there the header was off by 1 hour(time zone maybee?) and 38 min(wtf).
