C2500 belt cleaner fit c2800?

Hi all

i know the transfer belt assembly fits the c2500 & c2800 however would a c2500 belt cleaner assembly fit a c2800 transfer belt?

No Chance. They are entirely different fuser housings.
But I'm curious as to why?

Yes they will fit. There's little plastic rectangles you can snip off on the bottom rear end of the cleaning unit. You may also have to swap the little white gear at the back of the cleaning unit or the big white gear on the back of the itb.

I think he is talking about ITB cleaning unit.

This is correct. Pull out the old ITB cleaning unit and look at the underside of it, alongside the replacement one. You can see the differences in the plastic.
