Aficio MPC400sr left hinge problem plastic screw holes stripped out

ON MPC400Sr left hinge was loose. The screw holes are stripped out and was wondering what is suggested to repairs this outside of ordering ardor base which would mean removing everything formal and transferring to new. Is there something recommend to place into holds they will harden and that screws could then be crewed into.

I suspect this has happened on this model enough times that there is a fix or mod. Please advise. In the meantime I have removed hinge so ardf can lay flat on glass and is working ok. Customer just has to be careful when lifting if needs to use glass until I replace ardor or repair. Frank

I don't believe you can order the base by itself. Either you have to replace the entire adf or rig something yourself (maybe fill the stripped out holes with epoxy and set the screws).)
In one instance I replaced the entire adf and charged the customer for abuse (about $1000) when a customer ratted out a fellow employee for forcing the adf about horizontal to the rear. Recently had one where the base was cracked around the right hinge and wouldn't allow it to sit flush on the platen. I was able to repair that by drilling small holes in several places on both sides of the crack and suturing it with paper clips and epoxy.

Thanks for your help guys. Sandmanmac, not sure how that holder would apply as I don't think the holder was broken. The screw holes in the plastic were stripped out..
think your suggestion,Teebee, might work. customer closes early tomorrow so could set over weekend. I saw a used df1010 on eBay for .$110 Thanks again guys.
