Old dog Aficio 2238c fuser

I have not serviced one of these old units for at least 5 years. I have someone needing a fuser unit but they are not available from Ricoh anymore.
I have a NIB 3800c printer fuser, I cannot recall if this fuser will work in the copier without any modification.
Can someone dig deep into your memory and tell me if this is possible?

Pretty sure that the Printer model just slots in without mods...from my dim dark memory
