run a config page and see if PS3 is there, i think thats what that label means, but someone could have taken the sd card out.

      Absolutely not!

The PDF feature is for direct printing, not by using a driver.

While it's true that a PDF is actually a PostScript file with additional info, it does not mean that you have the PostScript option.

      Nice try, though.

        thanks
so if i want to add PS3 I will need to merge the adobe pdf opt using 5873 [SD Card Appli Move]..
If I recall there are only two slots 1 being the needed system card and 2 for other options"ps3" and
to do firmware updates. so would you merge adobe pdf to sytem 1st ANDthen add PS3?
THANKS AGAIN As i dont want want to screw up any cards here

Adobe PDF is built in, not an option.
So unless, you have other options on the machine, there should be a free slot
EDIT: In retrospect, I don't think it is/was standard on that model, sorry about that

Actually, according to the product support guide, it is standard on that model.

However...there is always the chance, however slim, that while it may be standard in the US, it may not be in other countries.

the Adobe PDF allows you to print a PDF file, but only PostScript will allow you to print with a Mac.
