    Ricoh MP5000 replacing NVRAM

I have a MP5000 that I resold to a new customer. I.T. was unable to get into the settings to set up network scanning. I thought the default user was SUPERVISOR . Is that correct ? That didn't work, is changing NVRAM the only other option.

You should really search the CTN archives, as there's a lot of information about that here already. And it is available to you for free, too.

I understand that some tech change the ADMIN pass, but to change SUPERVISOR PASS, that is crazy!!!
If you have the same copier, put the SD Card in the copier who is FREE, and use NV Ram downloading.
And put that SD Card in the copier who is locked, and use NV RAM UPLOAD.

That problem is solved, only that, if you not change NV RAM

      Regards

Supervisor can do one thing and one thing only. Change the admin credentials.
