    MPC305 jam Code 003

    Hi Guys

    I have a Ricoh MPC305 that every now and then come up with a jam code 003. The paper is then stuck 2cm past the feed tyre in the tray.

    I have replaced the Feed clutch and the 1st paperfeed sensor. Was working fine but now its doing the same.

    Counter:
    Colour: 28965
    Black: 13671

    Any ideas????

          what i do is stretch the sep pad spring to stop it feeding the next page of paper which triggers the sensor just above the feed tyre.

              Is the paper being lifted up hard against the feed roller? The usual problem with these turkeys is a plastic part in the paper lift mech at the back of the tray cracks and bends so you don't get good contact between roller and paper.
              At least 50% of IT is a solution looking for a problem.
