    Ricoh MPC8002 random toner spots

    Hi all,

During printing in which cyan or magenta are used there are a few tiny toner spots all over the paper even in the margin area.

            Hi all,

I did all the updates to the machine and verified the drum and developer units... there is no mess of toner...
But I still have toner scattering during printing.

I did a TD sensor init without changing the developer a few weeks ago... I'm not sure if that is the problem.
Now if I go to the Vtcnt the values of C and M are higher than the values of K and Y
same for the values of Vtref

              Update!

I did a SP3030 just for C and M and I reduced significantly the scattering...

              Any feedback?

Hi you must read the service manual to calibrate the density of the developer (you have old developer and you make td init)
from chapter 4.12.3 REMOVING OLD DEVELOPER

but that will just help me to reduce the amount of toner in the unit but there
Is no instruction of how to calibrate it. I currently have a density within spec.
