MP C 5530 Fax Baurd rate

Hi,how do you lower the Baurd rate to 9600,Is it in fax parameter bit switches or fax SP - cant find it the user guide,service manaul-it's a bit or very vague-I need a idiots guide

Is in the sp fax mode. I look at service manual on mp161 sp 1-105-006 for tx and 1-105-007 for rx
they haven't change fax settings in manuals so if you have a old fax service manual should be able to see which bits for 9600 bit baud rate.

To change the send- an receive-baud rate to 9600 set this SP in Fax Mode:

SP 1-105-006 ( G3 SW 05 ) Bit 0 und 1 auf 0 / Bit 2 auf 1 / Bit 3 auf 0
SP 1-105-007 ( G3 SW 06 ) Bit 0 und 1 auf 0 / Bit 2 auf 1 / Bit 3 auf 0
