    mpc 6003

this one is taking a long time to print out in color. i checked the spec sheet on output time and it takes about 45 seconds for the first color print to come out. no problem with black and white it is on the money. this is not only in print mode it happens also when copying. i have two exact machines in the same office and it happens only with this one. help appreciated. thanks

Run sp5990-003 (UP mode data) and 5990-006 (non-default data) on both machines and compare the settings. Note that there are temp reload fuser settings that can affect output time.

Possibly the resolution when doing color?? You can check that in SP 5-836-122 (COPY) and 5-836-123 (PRINT)

Maybe the thermistor in the fuser is not getting a good reading and taking a bit longer to heat up than the other device. I had a similar issue where the thermistor bracket wasn't at the right angle preventing the thermistor contacting the fuser correctly. The machine would constantly say please wait or display the time until the job was going to be completed even on single pages that where blank. Hope this helps
