    Ricoh mp 7500

    Hi ,

I have problem with dev unit on mp7500.
When i replace new developer and doo initialization, copy is good some 3-4 000 copys, and copy is going darker and dirty.
when replace dev unit from other mashine, 7500 work normaly next 500-700.000 copys.

    anybody know what the problem?

Before the replacement of the developer the magnetic roller is black (it should be silver). You can try eg acetone.

            Not necessarily.
You can out the developer (for example on a clean sheet) to gently slide his remains with a clean brush, to assess the state of dirt of the magnetic shaft. After cleaning, run and run the machine without the developer's initialization. The result will surprise you.
            Good luck.

Also check for over-toning. The side seals on the toner delivery roller could be worn out and too much toner is getting into the developer.
