Hello
What S.O do you use?, have you tried to setup the path manually? (\\computername\sharename)?Memento Audere Semper -

Check the machine has DNS and domain entries in interface settings. Try browsing the folder from the RUN command of a computer. Make sure the username and password are valid on the machine / server you are trying to scan to.It's 106 miles to Chicago. Re: Ricoh MP C4000 - SMB Scan
Something else you might need to check. Windows 7 enables NetBIOS over DHCP, and that will sometimes make SMB a little hard to set up. Go to Network and Sharing/Network Card/Properties/IPv4 Properties/Advanced, click on the WINS tab, and check NetBIOS over TCP/IP and see if you can configure your scans then.

I have also found that on a domain, the first DSN entry should be the local domain DNS.Comment
