    [Misc] Radf B292

I was told by customer that the doc feeder on their MP 161 was pulling multiple originals through again, I'd earlier replace the limit roller even after not being able to duplicate the call. I still can't duplicate the multi feed but did see it stop feeding a couple of times. The original starts in then stops after the lead edge makes it before the doc glass. Is there another sensor other than the one I can see that would cause this or is it the result of something else???
    Thanks!!!

Either reverse roller area or documents that happen to copy have had a staple in them or been folded and is sticking causing it to feed mulit pages at one time. This doc feed is pretty slow and very dependable.

There is a RTB for this problem. Something about a metal "tab", more or less pressure.
It is situated somewhere at the torque limiter.

I agree completely! Either customers paper is not spec for the doc feeder and is sticking due to previous staple or something sticky. Or your reverse roller is worn and not enough friction on paper.

same customer another MP161 B292 feeder. This feeder will at times grab a stack of paper 10 sheets or more at one time. the ONLY thing that I've found that stops this and I'm not sure why is cleaning out the clutch on front side??? I pulled the limit pad and cleaned/replaced adjusted metal spring no results to stop. the paper I was using in the adf free run sp mode was blank plain paper.
          Thanks!!!
