    Lanier LD425 used tobner bottle full message

    Customer called yesterday afternoon with used toner bottle message. This is same machine as Ricoh aficio MP2550

    I don't see anything in SM about this unless it is the waste in transfer unit as in some models. I know the MPC2550 has a waste container
    on left side but customer said MP2550. Any assistance is appreciated as I am going there this morning. Frank

      Customers frequently specify leave of the C when saying what model they have. What do your customer records show they have.

          No used toner bottle in an mp2550 and the comparable Lanier model to the MPC 2550 would be LD525C

              Are you sure it's not an LD425c, which is the same as an MP C2500? It has a waste toner bottle, and the model number is pretty much identical.

                  waste bottle on front left side. All is ok. I had called customer back and asked if it
                  was the black or color and they said color. Frank

                      The waste toner bottles are not Black and white and color. The front one gets toner from the PCU's while the one on the side is waste toner from the ITB. I believe they are waste toner bottle 1 and waste toner bottle 2 with 2 being the one on the side.
