    Ricoh 1035 Scanning Problems

I have a customer that lives in the middle of a swamp, but in a mansion. He has his business out of his house and its over a 2 hour drive. He has a problem scanning his documents so he can e-mail them. All that he told me was that he does print to the computer but he cant scan to it.He has scan, fax, copy and print functions will light up when he presses the button on the keypad panel. He never had to scan anything until a couple of days ago.I dont think he is hooked up to it properly.I havent worked on one of theses machines in a while. He's running Windows XP, I'm just gonna take a router out there and see what happens. If anybody has any other ideas before I take this trek let me know.

You'll have to use Scanrouter Lite to get it to scan to the computer and/or scan to email.

If you haven't messed with Scanrouter Lite before, it's not hard but it's a bit quirky at first, like it will require a few reboots to to a full install.

You will probably need the ISP mail info as well.

If all possible, go to a 1035 in the field that is set up and see how all the settings are done, it will help you a lot before you go out to this guy's house.

I've been out of the game too long I guess.

scanrouter is pretty easy to use. Just make sure your delivery server IP address is set correctly. If you are scanning to email, ScanRouter lite will not work. You would have to setup the scan to email inside the machine. However; scanning to the computer is fairly easy. If you have problems, just post back here. I will be checking all day.

You know how to get the simulations for a Lanier 7328 and a Panasonic FP-7133,.?? both need a new D.V. calibration. Let alone where to get this D.V.. I cant think right now! Thank god for mileage!!
