Ricoh MPC3000 Printout System error Wa&#

First time to see the machine printout strange war ning message while printing a complex application like Photoshop.
Changed into PS driver to print, same problem rema in. Normal printing seems fine like test page, or MS word. Before updating the firmware(old ones from Configuration Page), just want to know if <firmware history> indicated the similar symptom, or Just turn off "print Error Report". Thanks for advice, appreciating to all possible partners by providing the pdf of firmware history ,

The machine's firmware is severly out of date.

Printer v1.09 is from 2007, the latest is v1.71. Same for System.
Latest Engine is v1.17:01. Postscript is v1.01.

Make sure you update all firmware to the latest, Engine and System should be performed first before the modules, as there are now new dependencies.

You will probably find that PCL XL error is more specific to the PCL6 driver.

I would do a google search for either 'MP C3000 PCL5c Driver' or 'MP C3000 RPCS Driver'.
These older retired drivers tend to work better and cause less issues for these older models (if they support the OS).

          Thanks all for quick post.

I do notice the old version. As a tech, better to make full preparation beforehand, like Plan B. So eager to see the firmware update history file description . I will be appreciated if someone can provide.

Re the post font, A good question, I used Google Foreign Language input method, not switch back to default America English(windows), simply press Shift key to input each letter, causing strange font display. Sorry for that.

On other hand, besides firmware update, I have to check what user's real environment it is, like the above, which could have caused printout warning message.

The MP C3000 is a MFP, not a printer. There is a printer firmware module firmware, but it is advisable to update all firmware modules, including over writing existing modules that are at the current level.

Real thanks for advice, I like the word " modules" as if it were intellectual property of Xerox . Ricoh never use it although they refer to same thing. Much like Laser Unit vs Print Head.

Joke is Joke, the help is real.

Is someone able to explain a little further for some following terms like NACK and IPDS & Oce Prisma etc? Thanks

                    3. Intermittent NACK(0595..11) resulting in jobs being cancelled.
                    4. The device is unable to negotiate a session with certain host applications

                      NACK = Negative ACKnowledgement
Simplified, the receiving device did not receive the entire transmission packet or is not ready to receiving next packet.
