E22C Fiery Color Controller
Hello, I am trying to setup a E22C Fiery Server For an MPC 4503 and MPC 5503. I cannot get it to connect in any way except to reload the system software through a crossover cable via laptop. When I cannot to regular network and then the copier via crossover cable I cannot get it to show up on the network. I have a keyboard and monitor connected to the fiery and I cannot get into any settings to set the IP or anything else for that matter. All I get is the PXE Shell or it will try and boot from the network and it looks for DHCP. I have the system software disk and the user tools disk but neither contain technical info. Please someone help me with this. Its very annoying!

Do you have the Color Controller Connection Board Type M4 Fiery Connection Board EDP Code 416733 installed on the MP C4503/5503? Are you following the Installation in the D730 (Fiery E-22C) Service Manual exactly? If the answer to either is NO, hire a trained and qualified tech. -

Hello and thank you for responding! The answer to question one is yes sir and I've turned off the NIC on the printer. The answer to question 2 is I don't exactly have that (could you possibly provide a copy or link?) And I'm more than qualified with the right documentation I've just never set one of these up before. Am I correct in saying that the Ricoh MPC 4503 should see it and display a fiery button on the main home screen? I cannot get this to happen. What exactly do I need to shut off/on on the copier?
