    New version of Adobe Reader/Acrobat printing slow

    I've had this problem recently at two different clients one is a c2500 the other a c3301. Printing within chrome or Foxit Reader works fine. Also older versions of Adobe reader work fine.

      In my opinion, older versions of Adobe worked better on a number of things.

          What's the version number for the Acrobat DC versions giving you problems? The latest version should be either 17.009.20044 or 17.008.30051 depending on the release version. Do all PDF's print slowly or only certain ones? I've seen a lot of issues for years with PDF's created by scanners whih seem to add in a lot of extra 'noise' into the file that can cause all sorts of issues when printing.

              I've heard of this type of issue with Adobe 10 however a nice we work around I like to suggest to clients is to use the Print as Image option in the Advances setting in the dialogue box.

              Usually a get out of jail free card.
