    Ricoh SP4510dn toner problem

Costumer install new toner and printer works fine. After about 1 hour printer stops and write"Add toner" on display.
I was thinking that was something wrong with toner, so I adviced costumer to install new toner. Printer again works fine for about 1hour then stops, "Add toner" again.
Does anybody have the same problem?

When the toners was inserted to the printer, the Id chip was reseted and now this toners is not recognized by printer any more.
Is it posible somewher in SP to tell printer that it have a new toner?

    Thanks

    Re: Ricoh SP4510dn toner problem

Which toner cartridge is being used?

SP4500LA has a projected yield of 3K. That reduces to 2.1K at 3P/K 5% and 1.7K at 1 P/J 5%. Higher coverage will give even lower yields

SP4500A has double the yield and SP4500HA is double that of SP4500A.

At 42 ppm it wi1ll take just over an hour of continuous printing to print 3K pages.

I think the toner contact is broken or damaged. Check it.
