MP 9000 Problem

Hi all...

The machine just stops in the middle of job, print or copy, there is a error sound, no SC code, no jam, and just hangs on printing/copying. After 15-20 minutes still no SC codes no errors, no records in the SC history. After restart works normal, of course till problem occurs again, at least once a day.

Maybe clean out the controller box? Could be alot of dust? If not that maybe memory or hdd.
Error sound? Is something slipping ?

Have you checked the SC log in System SP to see if there are any logged service codes that have not been displayed?

Have you tried using the debug log to capture information? Setup and use is in the service manual.

Machine might be going into a blade cleaning function and not completing, SP 2506 Cleaning interval multiple copy. Try turning off and see if that corrects the problem. If it does, reload all firmware modules. Do not use package as it only replaces those modules that are not current.
