    background on pro 5110

I'm struggling with this pro it has about 250k blk and 70k colour on the clock and has started to cover the colour copies only in a dusting of magenta toner almost as if it was over toned.
In single colour mode you still get the background on each color when you remove the transfer unit the belt is all clean apart from an area from the id sen too the area that makes contact with the tran roller on the bed the bed transfer roller is covered in magenta toner.
I have cleaned all the units and the dev unit dosnt look over toned so in the end I ran some copies with the mag dev unit in the cyn position and cyn in mag position now the paper has a cyn background I thought great it a contact problem so cleaned and checked the contacts at the rear of the magenta area in drum position now the fault cleared but this is the second time this has happened has anyone had any problems like this as the copier is like new inside we have also tried a new drum and swapped over the ylw and mag cleaning units. thanks for any advice
