    User Code 1224c Full Color Mode

    I just bought a package of 1224c copiers. 2 of them say they need a user code before full color mode can be used. I did the 7-810 to clear user codes, but still same thing. Is there another place to clear this? Thanks.

    user tools -> system settings -> admin ->

    Don't have the rest in mind, should be self explaining. You can configure wich modes are requesting user codes.

      Hi Dear,

      I think you use the SP7-810 clear user codes this option only clear the registered user code. But You must cancel the user code mode. This operation is ;

      (123) User tools -> System settings -> Key operator Tools -> User code management

      All option is to be deactive.

      After copier working is ok!

      We're waiting your good news.
      Good Work

        User Tools > Hold down (#) key while pressing System Settings will reset all system settings to factory defaults which will turn user codes off. Likewise holding (#) while pressing copy or fax will reset those settings.

          This is good solution but all system setting is clear. Maybe this copier same time work Fax, Scanner, for example destination list is clear, after clear time setting, interface settings. Dear repeatcopiers choose and apply.

              You said you had acquired a several machines, so I assumed you were going to resell them - A full reset is usually a good idea in that case, and it's the quickest solution. Second, on the new machines that allow you to require authentication to access user tools this will allow you to reset it (sometimes) if system settings is locked.
              Not always the best solution, but good to know
