    SP 410 DN "CLOSE COVER"

20170807_141742.jpg20170807_141548.jpgHi, all. I have an old new 410DN printer that was set up and ready to go a couple of years ago (been sitting in the warehouse ever since). Now when the main power switch is turned on, a "close left/front cover" indication exists and will not clear. Both interlock switches test good.
I thought I would see if anyone has run across this problem before.

Check PSU, 24 V that supplies switches could be missing.

I figured it out. There is a tiny push switch on the upper left inner cover. That was the problem.

Common problem for any machine that has been stored without being shrink wrapped to keep out dust.
