    MP2852 SP mode problem

Replaced developer and development gear, executed SP2801. But "Process" SP mode is greyed out, I'm unable to check/change any setting under this mode.

B&W machines don't have an SP group 3.

All you need to do, when you replace developer, is SP2-801, enter the lot number, and execute. It is a good idea to block the toner recycler and toner supply before doing a dev initialise, to get the best result.

Tap the upper PCDU housing to loosen waste toner, then print a few copies to remove any dropped toner.

There is no lot number entry on the 2852, at least not that I have ever seen. I usually just vacuum out the recycling system on the upper PCDU when I do a PM, gets the crud out and then I don't have to worry about blocking the inlets.

The low end model don't, but the older 35+ machines and the all the XX54 models do.
