Ricoh MP C5501A and MPC 3501 Fusing units are same?

And Please also advise how to reset the fusing unit life.

No, they are different parts.

If you replace the fusing unit (as a whole) set SP3-902-014 to 1 and reboot. If you just want to remove the "Replace Fusing Unit" PM message, then execute SP7-804-019.
