2018 d Number of fax Rings

I cant seem to set the Number of fax rings to answer after 5 rings.
I went to NCU settings 103-6 and changed this to 5 and it doesnt make any difference. Is this machine capable of changing this setting , If so ,how?

It is probably limited for a reason. Typically a fax machine will only wait for about 45 seconds for another fax machine to send an answer tone, If not received it will time out and code it as "no answer"

IMHO you can set this somewhere in the user tools -> fax settings -> ??? (maybe RX settings or key operator tools*)

      *enter with "2222"

Dunno exactly but you should find it if you check the user guide or via trial and error.

Make sure you are going to SP 2-103-007 under the fax sp's. I made the mistake of going to 006 because it says Parameter number 6 in the book but there is a parameter 0 so make sure that the sp number you are going to is the one above.

Also you can access it using the Read/Write Memory function. the address is 680576. The value is in Hex so 5 would be 05 and 10 is 0A, etc.
