RADF not seen on a MP6001??

HI ALL
i visited an account with a mp 6001 with 600k and
the feeder would not react when paper inserted..
i tried to test feeder motors etc and cant access anything.
with open door picture shows just a platent type setup..no feeder............
i see one led on radf main brd and tested all fuses off main power supply.
did the long look for staples and paper clips,pinched wires,loose connections..........
nothing..reseated all radf connectors and stayed the same....................
in service mode options check does not see radf
didnt do any point to point as it was getting close to closing time..........
anyone see this?
saw nothing in gooseguide

The only time I saw this was on a 6002 and it turned out to be a burnt component on the adf main pcb.

I have also seen this before and it was a bad paper present sensor on the ADF. A troubleshooting method is to swap senors with the cover open/ close sensor to find the defective one.

havent been on
but turned out to be bad ADF controller
