Deleting Device Certificate - MPC 307

I have a device with a Device Certificate installed that I am unable to delete.

I have tried through User Tools - it appears to delete but when you re-enter the option after a reboot the Device Certificate is back.

I have also tried to delete it using the WIM same thing happens.

    Any suggestions anyone?

The certificate is the only difference between this and countless other machines that are all setup in the same fashion to scan to email.

Smtp over SSL requires a site certificate not a Device certificate. There are a number of Ricoh and third party applications that require a device certificate. My guess is that there is some other application installed that requires the certificate. You delete and when you reboot the application installs it. If the application also uses SSL, it is that use of SSL that is interfering with scan to email.
