Strange. It should also wake if you touch the LCD or put a doc into the feeder. So either of those wake it?
I dont see any settings in UT or SP for this feature.

See if you can find something useful:

User Tools (System Settings) Timer Setting
      Auto Off Timer
The machine turns off automatically to conserve energy after a specified
amount of time has passed following job completion. This function is called
      “Auto Off”.
The machine status after Auto Off operation is called “Off mode” or “Sleep
mode”. For Auto Off Timer, specify the time to elapse before the Auto Off
      function is activated.
      Note
      Default setting: 1 minutes
❒ When in “Off mode” or “Sleep mode”, the machine can be ready for use
      within 25 seconds.
❒ Auto Off Timer function will not operate in the following cases.
      • When a warning message is displayed
      • When the service call message is displayed
      • When the paper is jammed
      • When the cover is open
      • When “Adding Toner” message is displayed
      • When the toner is being replenished
      • When the User Tools/Counter screen is displayed
      • When fixed warm-up is in progress
      • When the printer or other functions are operating
      • When operations have been suspended during printing
      • When the Data In indicator is on or blinking
      • When the sample print or confidential print screen is displayed
❒ The time can be set from 1 minute to 240 minutes using the number keys.
      Energy Saver Timer
Set the amount of time the machine waits before switching to Low Power
mode after copying has finished or the last operation is performed.
The time can be set from 1 minute to 240 minutes using the number keys.
      Note
      Default setting: 15 minutes
Settings You Can Change with User Tools
      Panel Off Timer
Set the amount of time the machine waits before switching the panel off after
copying has finished or the last operation is performed.
      Note
      Default setting: 1 minutes
❒ The warm up time for making a copy from standby mode is 0 seconds.
❒ The interval time can be set from 10 seconds to 240 minutes using the
      number keys.
      ❖ System Auto Reset Timer
The System Reset setting automatically switches to the screen of the function
set in Function Priority. This happens if no operations are performed or when
an interrupted job is cleared. This setting sets the system reset interval.
      “Function Priority”
      Note
      ❒ Default setting: 60 seconds
❒ The time can be set from 10 to 999 seconds in one second increments using
      the number keys.
❖ Copier/Document Server Auto Reset Timer (Copier/Document Server)
Specifies the time to elapse before copier and Document Server functions are reset.
      Note
      ❒ Default setting: 60 seconds
❒ If “OFF” is selected, the machine will not automatically switch to the user
code entry screen, and you will not be able to limit who uses the machine.
❒ The time can be set from 10 to 999 seconds in one second increments using
      the number keys.
❖ Scanner Auto Reset Timer (Scanner)
Specifies the time to elapse before the scanner function is reset.
      Note
      ❒ Default setting: 60 seconds
❒ If “OFF” is selected, the machine will not automatically switch to the user
code entry screen, and you will not be able to limit who uses the machine.
❒ The time can be set from 10 to 999 seconds in one second increments using
      the number keys.

I've not seen this, and I don't know if it will help, but you might want to update the firmware.

I think Paul might be on to something with the timer. Are you sure the machine is in "sleep" mode or is it completely off? If you have to press the power switch on the control panel to wake it up, it's not asleep it is off. Try adjusting your timer settings in that case.
the savin2535 is displaying well bet the hiter lamp is not shining and the lamp had been tested o.k.please kindly help.
Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window.

There is also Night Mode if the printer/scanner is fitted.

                6.14.5 NIGHT MODE
This is used instead of auto off mode when an optional scanner/printer unit is
                installed.
There are two types of night mode: Night Stand-by Mode and Night Mode. The difference between night stand-by mode and night mode is the machine’s condition when the machine enters auto off mode.

Entering night stand-by and night modes
The machine enters the night stand-by mode and night modes when one of the following is done.
                • The operation switch is pressed to turn the power off
                • The auto off timer runs out (the operation switch is then turned off, but the main
                power switch stays on)

What happens in night stand-by and night modes
When the machine enters either of these modes, the fusing lamp and operation switch turn off, and only the main power LED is lit.
                Night stand-by mode
The system +5V and +24 V are supplied to all components.
                Night mode
The system +5V supply is also turned off. However, +5VE (+5V for energy saver
mode) is still activated. When the machine detects a signal from the PC, the
machine goes back to night stand-by mode and the system +5V and +24V supplies
are activated. Then the machine receives the incoming message and prints it.

                Returning to stand-by mode
The machine returns to stand-by mode when the operation switch is pressed. The recovery time is about 45 s.

                    hi

Mr. Cobiray, Mr. Imind, Thnx. Mr. Cobiray was right.the machine auto off timer was set to 15 mins. the same with the energy saver mode(15mins.) that's why when you put a paper on the ardf, touch the screen or move the adrf up the machine has no reaction(coz the machine is already in auto off after 15 mins). I just made auto off timer to 120 mins then set the energy saver mode to 2 mins. and that's it. the machine should be in the energy saver mode to activate it when you touch the screen or ardf.

                    Thank you Guys!!!!!!!!!!!
