hello tech any ideas to repair this part or technical bulletin by ricoh to repair this cover i have like many copiers rented this machines and all the times broke this cover vertical transport

the problem here is the danm cabinet is too close to the door pivot area and ricoh had crappy lite weight metal that can bend easily,i usually add extra sheet metal screws and beef up the cabinet.
i use a hot glue gun and cut extra plastic using a dremel tool.small screws and drill where the tit breaks off.

i carry a container of assorted sheet metal screws,washers and thin long screws to
replace the plastic tab that breaks off.
you will find they break the whole right door too,which you can swap with the mpc2051/2551 series too
if you have any parts units on those......
you do any fishing in the baja region..
i spent a week doing the "pangas"launnched before light from the surf,very wild experience
down in san jose del cabo............
