Mpc305 Freeze when printing smc Report.

Do Someone had a issue with mpc305 when printing smc report getting stuck always some time.
Getting stuck end op sp mode 5998-01-sp6021-01 ....

My 2de machine thats doing it with me!

I had exactly the same thing on some mp 301 machines. It was a memory problem. Plug the memory dimm out and back in. Then check firmware that it is up to date and check under printer configuration printout the installed+free memory. On one customer machine I had a memory module problem (no hard disk). After firmware update i would recommend SP5-801-018 (SRM System Resource Manager). After the reboot it should work mit smc list all.

We had the same condition and eventually rolled back the engine and system firmware to the previous version and it fixed it. We did this, as before the firmware upgrade the smc printed fine and nothing else was changed except for the firmware.
