two things i would try, power off copier, open right door and power on and see if that will let u in.
if not, disconnect hdd and power up and see if u can progress that way.

May sound off but we had an issue like this last week, replaced boards, HDD, ect. It ended up being a piece of paper behind the first cassette. Sounds wierd, but it worked after that paper was removed.Leave a comment:

Hi
I'm offshore on a MP C4504 where the machine suddenly froze up, and after restarting the MC the "please wait" is showing in a loop. (Blue Screen, then Please Wait until black screen and then repeat.)
I am not able to enter SP the normal way with pressing the most forward button on display side and System info on touch. I think this is a HDD related problem, and if I am able to get into SP mode I can format the disk. Is there a combo to enter SP mode with machine startup or can I use the three small buttons on the left of the display to enter SP ?
